Bella Does the Full Moon Party

Yesterday, Tom took lots and lots of pictures with his new camera. People were forced to pose in front of flowers or palm trees or whatever as he practiced creativity. Unfortunately--and this is a testament to the fact that men never read instruction manuals--he was pressing the shutter button but not holding it down. So he took lots and lots of "pretend pictures." He finally got the hang of it after complaining that you couldn't see the pictures on the review feature and, therefore, the camera must be broken. (Often, he is referred to as "Poor Tom.")
World Famous Chicken Droop

Last night's Chicken Drop took forever! (For those who don't recall, a chicken is placed in a pen with numbers from 1-100 on the floor, and bets are placed on which number the chicken poops on. (Yeah, hilarious. Yeah, right.) The chickens must have been off their feed, because each round took at least three chickens before one did the deed. C'mon, Wahoo Lounge. Chicken security can do better than that. Regardless, hundreds of people were there to watch, drink, and bet. It was kinda like going to the Kentucky Derby when all it does is rain. You pretend you're having a great time and tell all your friends how sorry you are that they weren't able to attend.

Kama Lounge, North San Pedro
Island Queen
Finally, we were off to the Kama Lounge Full Moon Party a half mile north of the bridge. What dog wouldn't howl at the moon at this place? The music was great and the dancing was frenetic. (Hey, look it up. I don't have time to explain everything.) I thought Holly was having a particularly good time, and she looked fabulous, darling. By the way, she creates that wonderful jewelry she was wearing, and it's for sale! Check out http://www.jobsitecouture.com/.  (Disclaimer: I am related to Holly, although not by blood. She is my aunt, I think, or something like that.)
THEN, off to Club Latino for karaoke, and, finally, street tacos at 2 am. By the way, the tacos were the best I've ever had, and they only cost $1 USD each.

I just LOVE sleep-overs!
Today, it's breakfast at Estel's (maybe), then off to Caye Caulker, our beautiful island neighbor. Leonardo DiCaprio has his private island nearby, but no invitation so far. We'll see.

Y'all come visit. We'll dash over to Kama's or just chill out on Caye Caulker. You're gonna love Belize!
