Just to keep everyone up to date, we have the golf cart for another two weeks. Yay! Yippie! Karl, the golf cart rental owner, gave us a significant discount, and added me as a driver. Finally.
We celebrated with lunch at Dianita's near the airport where I am given the run of the place. Tom and I had the smoked pork platter, Belizean style, and Shelley had chicken soup which comes in a large bowl with huge pieces of chicken and vegetables. These are not tiny portions. After finding a belt for the clothes dryer which had broken, it was time to go home.
I have been asked if I play in the sand. I trust the photo answers the question. If not, the answer is no. Grass is not easily found in San Pedro. (Read that anyway you choose.) Real playing occurs indoors with my favorite toys which I brought from Houston.
I told you yesterday was a bad hair day. Trust me, it was a bad hair day. Anyway, Shelley and I did our hair and got dressed up to go to Caramba's with girlfriends, but by the time we were ready to go, I decided I was too sleepy and stayed home with Tom who was too tired to go hear Kelly McGuire play!
